Quick road trip to the Woodford Reserve Distillery with a few friends on May 17. I experimented with a couple styles that I am working to develop. I have found myself leaning towards a more desaturated and less contrasty look of late. You will also find several images in B&W, which is the other style my interest has gone up in.

Just a bit about the trip . . . If you’ve never participated in a Barrel Selection, would encourage you to find a way to! We had a great time on our private tour with our guide, Kaitlyn. We got to sample three single-barrel bourbons, then sampled them again after they were blended and proofed down. We feel like we selected a solid blend that will be enjoyed by all who are lucky enough to have a bottle from this pick.
